The Numbers Racket Swing Band
The show:
A standard show would be comprised of two sets, each set being about 50 minutes long. The break between sets depends on you, but on average is about 15 to 30 minutes.
Disco/incidental music:
Our PA can be used to provide music before and after we play, as well as during the interval. You can bring a laptop or mp3 player and plug in directly to play music of your choice, or we can provide music if you prefer.
We have a collection of most styles of popular music
- current pop, classic disco, funk, blues, classic pop and more. We also have several lights so you could, if you wish, use our equipment in place of a DJ.
Example of a typical evening:
8pm: Background music/disco begins
9.30pm: Band starts playing
10.20pm: Band finishes first set. Background music/disco for c. 20 minutes
10.40pm: Band starts second set
11.30pm: Band stops playing
11.30pm: Background music/disco until 12.00 midnight
Of course, we're flexible and can adapt to your needs.
